Well, I finally managed to save up and get a lift.
It may not be the best on the market. But it will do the job I need it to do.

Super happy for you. That will make life so much easier for you........ even with your own everyday driver maintenance. Texas Red

I'm not supposed to know this, so don't tell anybody ,but I think I am getting a projector tv for in the garage for Christmas.

Been serious considering a 4 post myself and I'm 60. Been underneath cars since I was a kid, maybe it's time. 65

Those Triumph lifts are quite decent. I just got a quote on three four post lifts and the price is great and they offered free shipping which helps out a lot. I'm sure you will enjoy it immensely

Looks to be the same style as mine. I like the solid blocks for the stops. It was a Lift King I believe in the past. Brands change as they sell out. I modified the end stops to be universal and switch to either end so I can enter from both sides. It only comes in handy every once in a while, but it does!
Congratulations on one of your new favorite toys.

I fell a little better about storing a car on it.
Plus the ease of rolling a car on it without getting on your knees to position the arms.
Pros and cons to either style.
Plus I do not have to drill into my heated floor,my luck I would hit a water line.
As well as it being movable.

That is like one of the two I installed a mirror in front of. It had secondary jack plates that would slide forward and back. Car up enough to set up the secondaries, install cross pins, a couple of steps reqd, car goes up with wheels off the lift tracks too. Similar to a front end rack but no hydrolic swing jack's. Cheers

That's a nice looking lift.....congrats! The worst part of getting a lift later in life is having to learn how to work a different way than laying on your back under the car....lol. I have a 4 post lift in my garage, and it makes life easier. I got myself in the habit of walking around and checking all 4 locks after raising a car, before I get under it to work. It's never failed to set all 4 locks, but I want to KNOW it did. I'm too old to get smished under a car....lol.

As everyone has stated on here, regardless if it’s a 2 or 4 post, having a lift makes a huge difference in being able to work on your vehicles as we get older!

Any fluid changes, brake jobs and anything else that requires being under the vehicle.

I'm taking delivery of an 8000 lb capacity backyard buddy wide buddy 4 post on Monday. Will give me the capacity to store my 48 Dodge Business Coupe, 72 Dart, and my car trailer all in the same spot in my garage. As well as a way to service them better.

I worked at a tire/auto service place for about 4 years back in 80s. Rarely anything very new to play with but even those still were prone to leak anything anywhere. Store got financially burned a couple times before parking one under another was banned. No the new ones don't leak like the dinosaurs but they can. Anything that can happen will. Good luck

Love my new Wildfire lift. Went with the new Wide Exotic Tall. Love the extra 8" width compared to the Advantage life i had.
