I quit drinking, got married and needed a hobby and I have always wanted a Dodge Dart ever since high school, so I bought a rough 1970 Swinger. Any advice for a new guy is highly appreciated! I have a bit of a learning curve being my first build but lots of enthusiasm and plenty of time. It's not pretty, but it's mine!

lol yea it needs pretty much everything! I picked up a 1970 383 at the GoodGuys swap meet for it just yesterday
Pun Intended,... 383 is a nice build, check out Schumacher, for bolt in mounts, without changing a slant 6/ small block K member...(Yes, they are different, using a 383 low deck,"over a 440 RB..." makes headers/ exhaust manifolds MUCH EASIER...to deal with.)

Thanks for the info, I got a v-8 K member a gentleman with a 64 383 and he said it would need different motor mounts also, so maybe it would just be easier to leave the 6 cylinder k member and change the motor mounts since I have to do it either way or would there even be a difference in changing to the v8 k?Welcome!
