I have finally got around to posting a clip of my exhaust. On the stroker I am running Doug’s headers to all 2 ½ inch tube, an X pipe, and Borla pro xs muffs. The pipes are run all the way to the bumper. I personally love the way it sounds, there is absolutely no in-car drone when cruising, it has a very mild sound, and I can actually carry on a conversation on the highway (aside from all the wind noise). Before this setup, I had the temporary flexi tube crap, same muffs, dumped at the axle. When this was all done, with the X pipe, I could tell a HUGE difference in seat of the pants power. ENJOY!!
Here is a link to the mufflersI am using:

The GIANT oil leak on the pipe in the first picture HAS been fixed, so I dont wanna hear it on that!:mrgreen:

Sounds good,I used one of those x pipe kits with 2 chamber flowmasters.Too loud,I may consider a set of those borlas.

Yeah, the flows are loud, but the Borlas are expensive. they are a very free flowing design, so there are no blockages within.

It does sound Real nice, your car is a sleeper, I dont think many people would think you have an engine as powerful as what you have in there, I'd like to hear it with your cutouts open, I am doing the same for mine, except I am using an H pipe. who did the welding and pipe bending??

About 12 inches after the header, I bought two 2 ½ inch diameter U bends from summit. I cut, tweaked and bent them around the goofy *** trans cross member. It is mandrel bent till just after the X pipe, and I did all of that. I drove it to my local muffler shop, and they did all the rest of the bending, which is compression bent for the rest of it. Most people that know what a lumpy cam sounds like say it is a real sleeper, and I love It like that cause the car is kinda ugly with its greasy finger print marks and peeling paint from the power washer, true sleeper. A lot of people think the car just runs like crap cause the quiet muffs and the lumpy cam, a lot of folks think a hotrod has to be loud…
