(I'm getting to old to lay on my back with undercoating and dirt falling in my face or getting smarter in my old age.)!!! i am mean noooooooooooooooooooooo
wow awesome build. I built my 75 scamp with my father but it looks nothing like this. Your fabrication skills are awesome. And im pretty sure I speak for everyone on this forum when I say im jealous of the cool car your son is gunna be driving.
Still cold here in the north,But my son and I was out in the garage brain storming. We sat one of the seats in so we could get some measurments for some seat brackets.Nothing better than to watch your son eyes light up .I just invision the motor sounds going through his head.Hopefully warm weather will be here soon.
The weather in ohio is like a roller coaster one day fairly warm next day cold and snowing. We have been able to get a few things done on the nicer days though. We bought the fuel cell and wheel tubs, got them in place and started making templates for the sheetmetal. We are going to do all the sheet metal panels ourself,we just got a bead roller and going to try our hand at that as well.Hope you enjoy the pics.
We have been doing some sheet metal work, and bead work on the dart. We think is going well, along way to go.Working with my son has been a trip, both learning as we go. Hope you enjoy the pictures Thanks...

I cannot wait to start the project with my kids..isn't that why we have them ?..our garage floor needs to be painted and the new portable garage self distructed the day we installed it (having words with the manufacture ) but it is that darn delay that I begrudge..and my son has been asked to try out for our provincial team v-ball team...I want the car on it's wheels by september..I wrote a "to Do" list for te kids to see..put it in the kitchen..it has to be 7 feet long..
What you are doing..even forgetting the car...is fantastic..
Haven't posted in a while. Dad and I have been busy, we've put in our frame connectors and bent some mocked-up roll bars and bent our permanent cage. Here's some pics. Enjoy all.
SB Stroker will make plenty of power for sure. But . . . some folks say "go big or stay at home" to each their own. I'm also on the fence, but there's nothing like the sound of a BB . . . it's a tough decision . . . . Let us know when you get there . . .
Nice build. Are you going to make it streetable? I forget . . .Happy New Year!!!!
