Well after enduring 8 months of a boss with OCD ADD, Schizophrenia I had enough. I got tired of Kevin Baliski telling me every week(3 times a week at least) he was quitting. I also learned that he contaminated a commercial building's(bowling alley) drinking water line by pouring LOCK DE-ICER down it:banghead: He was investigated by Water Security Agency.
I beat him to the punch so to speak by quitting. I did give proper 2 weeks notice and performed my duties as an operator up until my last shift. Oh and outright fuel theft too and this was all documented to HR and the CAO of the town. They just turned a blind eye to it all:glasses7:. So I said bye bye.

New job is as an WTP operator in Kyle, SK. I get to help operate 2 plants. 1 is brand new and up n running. The other one is being commissioned and I get to assist them with that, so that is cool. It has a PALL system that uses Micro filtration and a Reverse Osmosis system. Very excited with this new position!

So I will get some random pics up from Kyle, pretty small town of about 600 people. As I said plant is new and there is approx 400 kms of new distribution pipeline as well as about 6 booster stations.

Claim to fame is a Woolly mammoth that was discovered about 50 years ago. Tons of old iron around here, I will post pics soon, here is a link to Wally the woolly mammoth

Congrats on the new job there Steve.

Thanks Bruce, I LOVED my prev job but WOW....I have NEVER seen anything like it. Unfortunately my other co-worker Elva isnt able to just leave as she has family and a young daughter. Loved working with her but I just couldnt do it anymore.

1st sign was him telling me he has to have a shower after he poops:wack::violent1:
All I said to him "did someone not teach you to wipe??"

Congratulations!!!!

I remember when you were having a hard time getting a job in water treatment but now with some experience you are moving along. Maybe you will secure a job back at the home twenty before long.

Thanks Bill, things are looking up, I have been at the new job for almost a month now. Something else might be in the works already.

Congrats on the new job.

Thanks Karl.

Still working, that's what counts right now.

I knew that my chosen career path would have a great future with opportunities, but this past year has been a long haul.
One reason I chose this career was everything on this planet no matter what needs clean water to survive...just wish I would have chosen it 25 years ago.

X2 Steve! :thumleft:

Thanks Rick, Im feeling good Karma with work, and its been a while.

Here is a pic of Wally the woolly mammoth, what Kyle is famous for.
The next few pics are of a yard here and some other local vehicles.
The gentleman that owns the yard wont sell anything...and he is about 75 years old. Oldkimmer or some of the other Sask boys might know of him or the story behind the vehicles.
Im dying to go in and take pics, there is stuff in there that looks rebuildable from the 20's!!
The gentleman actually lives beside me, we exchanged "hello's" the other morning, but I didnt wanna hassle him yet about going and taking pics. He actually has signs posted at the stores in town "DONT BOTHER ME, NONE OF MY STUFF IS FOR SALE!!"

Sorry bout the lousy pics, I was using my cell phone.
