Cool new product for the new 440 source block. Reminds me more than a little of the later B1 head revisions followed by letters like PS, MC, and TS. But it's always good to see more aftermarket support, especially with the out of those out of the box numbers.

I don't think these are intended for pump gas motors. Not that you couldn't build a BIG motor that needs this kind of airflow and run it on pump gas, just not what TF engineers planned I would guess.

So you think they are only suited for a race application? The 270 being as big as you’d go on a pump gas motor? I have a 512 with the 240’s and everyone here said they are too small for my 512 and I should go 270s. I just assumed the 295 would be even better but I’m no engine builder.

I think they were INTENDED primarily for a race engine. I'm sure they will be tried on every combination people can put together. I look forward to the results.

I would love to see them on anything 440 c.i. and up with a big fat turbo But I can't bankroll any of it.

My post was an OPINION based off of reading the original post/ad.

Boy, id love that too but in actuality I can’t even afford the 295’s . Sure is fun to dream though.

I’m thinking with the 2.225/1.74 valve sizing and the 15 degree valve angle that the minimum bore size would be 4-3/8, but it would surprise me if the recommended bore size is less than 4-1/2 inches. Even with rolling a radius in place of notching the valves, I imagine turbulence becomes a real concern with that much port volume if the bore is undersized too much. I have to admit my first thought was it looks like a great set of heads for a sheet metal intake with a pair of Ron’s toilets on top!

Looked to me like the low deck 4500 r series intake and a set of rockers coming out, look like a td made rocker. I would assume these are going to require an offset rocker.
I will own them one day, I'll have to build a tunnel ram for this build, I don't think I can magically make a wieand fit those ports lol. Definitely a aftermarket block set of heads
