So I took off the Slant six old leaf springs and the air shocks that supported them. Of course most know I put on a new set of 002-003 leaf springs and some cheap Summit drag shocks. The cheap Summit drag shocks didn't fit in the front so I got cheap comp engineering drag shocks.
Okay before the rear end lifted at launch likely because I had no weight transfer. My back tires stick out about a half inch on either side so in essence the fenders are over top of the tires. Of course the springs that I used has the passenger side with about a 3 inch Gap and the driver side with about a 2 inch Gap. I'm wondering if this combination actually gives me serious weight transfer and the rear end does not lift at takeoff and actually squats a little bit that the fenders will come down and hit the tires. I like the old school look of the tires sticking out as my whole car is not built so much 4 speed and quickness but old school feeling.
