...and last night Lightning on the wrong end of a shutout.

WTF just happened?

They let one guy walk all over them all night and couldn't complete 1/2 their passes even if no defenders were around.

Pass too much, not shooting enough, not playing with any urgency and their power play needs work. Maybe this road trip will help.

WOOT! Oilers are 4 - 1!!! What a difference after 10 years poor results. Even beat a great team last night which rarely happened in the past. Only 77 more games.... Hopefully they will play at least .500 for the remaining......:)
 
Getting rid of Yakupov can only help the Oilers.
Leafs young guns looking good but need to play better defensively. Losing games late....

I hear the Bruins posted a "Help Wanted add." for goalie. Week one and on their third stringer already. Yeesh.

Leafs win tonight! Holtby looked shaky. Anderson looks like he has found his game! Playing way better net lately. Above 500 and the young guns are looking good

Good Hockey Friday, unfortunately the Bolts lost.

Blue Jackets looked REALLY strong, though...on both ends of the puck.
 
Leafs win! Not too many road wins but it was dominant against the Bruins in their barn too! Leafs are a different team this year. Win or lose the young guns are looking good and make it exciting.

I saw it was 2-0 5 minutes in, then switched over after Leafs game....10-1 wow....the Avs were really good 2 years ago. Nathan MacKinnon is a good young kid.

Well that went sideways fast , watched the first 2 periods felt good got home to check the final DOH ! At least Marner put up some points , everybody can't pump Mathews tires all they want but this Marner kid is going to surpass Gretzky in every way if he can stay healthy long enough to grow into his body . His jr line mates from 2 1/2 yrs with the Knights all went in the first round heck his line last year had almost 400 points between the three of them in the regular season and another 100 in the playoffs {45 playoff points for Marner alone }, this kid has spent his whole life making blue chips out of scrubs and he's still too young to play in the AHL .
 
If you cut the blown 3rd period leads in 1/2. Young guns still learning, lots to go but boy are they good. The rookies have more than 100 pts and Matthews has 9 or 10 multi point games. It would be nice to see Marner put on 25 lbs. Dunno about his durability at that size.

Johnny Mac played for Toronto back in the 60s.... Still plays out here in pickup at 80
3 cup rings . He has some great stories !
 
I play with his little bro (70) often.... They both still have good hands and vision for the play.
