I want to give a thanks shout out to you on your recycling methods. After seeing your "bedframe" portion of the build, it gave me the idea to save a bedframe from one of the kids baby beds that we were getting rid of (bed, not the kid ). I have it pre cut, and ready for use on the Colt build. with the riveted corners, etc, it will be VERY easy to whip up a battery tray!
Thanks for the idea!
If these freakin' storms will ever end I have about another weeks work to do on my '63 chev truck then it's back wide open on the gasser again....

Yeah non-project projects can really distract from the main project, a few more days work on my old '63 chev rat rod truck an I can get back on the gasser, I wanna drive the truck some this spring before gas hits $5-$6 a gallon.. Heres a truck update, I got the interior all business, had some hijackers laying around put them on for when I haul an engine or something, when I'm not haulin' the truck will sit as low as possible, trucks hang an handle better low to the ground..
