this month has been a wreck. my youngest daughter, is 41, drives 35 mi one way to work, has 4 kid, a husband, and 10 yrs ago they removed her large intestine due to severe Chrone's Disease. has to use that "bag". look s like a model, 5 -9 blonde, blue eye, 120 lbs soaking wet. a wonderful girl. this month they removed the remains of here large intestine (stump) and her rectum. a major deal. I drove up there 250 mi away to help out till I saw she could manage it all. she was in hospital 6 days. month she goes back t work Dec2. she gets biopsy back, they fround the very beginning stage of cancer there. prognosis I good as they found it in microscope stage.
moved to Tx last week to be with the love of my life. enough said. 550 mile. sold off 4 cars have 2 left to sell, sold all my extra part. my little piece of land is for sale. hey i'm old, poor, and no mortgage!..... all is good. NO regrets.
last spring my dashound I have loved for the last 7 yrs .... I came home to find him paralyzed in his rear end. I have nursed him ever since. bought him a set of wheels that do not work n the country. he had wore his back legs bad even though I medicated and wrapped them every day. infection was just starting to set in, and is legs had no hope. we were so close. my best friend. I had to put him down today. buried him and balled like a baby.
but, i count my blessings. i have my wife, 2 great daughters, 2 Dashounds, 2 good quarter horses, friends, Jesus Chrit , my Lord and Savior.

God is good. Although we all go through hard times, they are temporary. Better days are coming soon my friend!

Thank you for sharing your story because someone might gather their own courage after seeing yours.

So sorry you had to say goodbye to your sweet dachshund to whom you truly were his best friend.

Congrats on starting a new life in a new state, with your wife and strong faith.

May God keep you and your family in His hands, for peace and comfort for your daughter, and a strong hand for you as you do what's right in your heart!

A man who counts his money will never be rich, a man who counts his blessings will never be poor!!!

As others have said, God is good, even through the rough times. Here's a song I heard on XM that seems fitting and might bring a smile to your face.

wow... you are a rock - I'm thinking those that are are close to you are blessed. it is better to savor the memories of what you have had than to mourn what you have lost.
