oil pressure @ idle when hot

is 30 PSI ok?
I'm not experienced with such engines. With my SB I'd say too less. Had in the SB all the way 55PSI regardless what rpm. Cold at 60-65 like the HEMI too.
Filled 7 quarts plus filter 0w40 synth. No leaks.

That oil pressure is more than enough for a hot idle.

Thats fine if not too much at hot idle. A good rule is 10 psi for every 1000 RPM. I believe the stock oil pressure idiot lights were about 7 psi. and even that is enough for a hydrodynamic wedge fluid bearing. So 30psi is huge.

aaah, very good to hear. Thanks guys. This is so damn modern... LOL ... and I mounted a 30 psi oil pressure switch to switch my fuel pump on and off.... LOL guess I should change to 20 or less psi....
