I hope it is going to be better than the 360 I have. One cylinder, I think #3, does has some pretty deep pitting. But if it's only that one, then I will sleeve it. I didn't get a chance to really look it over this afternnoon 'cause I was helping a friend move. But tomorrow, if the weather holds out, I will get it on the engine stand and scrub it down so I can get a better idea what condition it's in.
The stroker crank has never been out of the box. Pistons are .030" over Ross forged with 21cc dish. Rods are Eagle H-beams. Everything is brand new in the original boxes. I hope to drop it off at the machine shop Monday.
I'm still going to exchange the 360 block for a different one. The place I bought it from is dragging their heals finding me one, but I am going to hold them to thier guarantee. The 360 crank and rods are still at the machine shop, so I'll pick them up when I drop off the 340.
Not sure what I'm going to do with the 360 stuff... I may have to start looking for another A-body. :twisted:
