Opinions on Value of This '71 Duster?

Hard to say. Needs trunk work. Needs quarters, god knows what you can't see in the pics. needs an int. Has a 360. Gonna take some dough to get it right.

The fenderwell around the tag looks wrinkled - car was hit sometime, maybe. Check the frame. between 5 and 8k, methinks.

Noticed the same, that apron has had some hammer work. The rear bumper is over to the right. The sloppy seam sealer work and spatter paint is probably hiding some more rust. I would want to get under it and poke around with an ice pick. Could find a nicer example for that money.

There's a lot of disparity between what he says it is, and what the car says it is!! The paint job is hiding a lot, and the quality, or lack thereof, of many of the real items in need of attention, or that have already had bad work done to it would keep me from buying it! Anybody can paint and install rims on a car, but in this case, it's hiding too much!!

looked at one last week, guy said he bought it 5 years ago for $3500 thought he stole it! original 340 on a stand , gutted project. I darn sure didn't ask what he wants for it! ha
look it over real good! frame bent? very careflookover by someone that has been there, done it.... will tell you if $3000 or what ever.

Owner says it suffered a relatively small bonk on the LR quarter where the primer is.
Yep, probably stuffed the rail a bit. That might be why it's sitting higher on that side. I thought the quarter looked a little blown out right by the bumper. He's got whatever piled up over the left rail/trunk floor so you can't see it. Maybe a buckle.

Only way to know is to go look at it in person. Take the pointers given, a weak fridge magnet and maybe a car buddy with you. Make arrangements to get underneath it. If you like what you see go back with what you could stand to pay in cash and give it a shot. I don't see $10,500, but a lot sellers have high hopes, even though they probably know they won't get it.

While the car may not be worth 10k to some its worth more than 3k try buying a shark tooth grill for less than 1k I've seen cars in worse shape being sold for outrageous amounts it remains what's it worth to you

Here are a few examples that you can compare to determine the value of the car

I threw in the ad of the shark tooth grill to show that this car has value

I disagree your car looks great
In pictures... It actually needs front floor pans, trunk pan redone, drip rail work, lower quarter patches, rocker work, and paint...Which illustrates my point about him going to see it in person.

But my car also has a fresh stroker, new brakes, wheels and tires, transmission, fuel system, radiator, lines, frame connectors, exhaust, etc.
