Parts Question

Is there any supplier out there making pillar covers? I need a passenger side front pillar cover for my Cuda, its a plastic part going from the roof to the dash. If I found a used one what would be a realistic price? #2 What do you call the piece of moulded rubber that screws on to the top of the door jam, just at the top where the rear side window starts, looking for one of those also. Don't know if anyone makes those, what's a used on worth. I always have trouble figuring out what to pay for such items.

Nope,no one is reproducing them.
Do you know if a Duster one will work on your Cuda?
If it will i have one you can have for shipping cost.

As for the name of the rubber piece i can't help with that but i might have a good one of those also.Which side do you need?

I don't know about the pillar cover, but the rubber piece you're talking about is available. I'm not at home so I don't have my reference material with me, but I have seen them. Can't remember what they're called though :scratch:

Not sure if the Duster part would work, I might have a line on one, just have to figure out what to pay. The boyz tell me the other part is called a door U jam?? Does that sound right?

That sounds like it could be it. I think I saw it in the Jims Auto parts catalog. If I was back it Hawaii I could tell you exactly :?

Door jam pillar seals! Found them on the Jim's site. Nothing specific for a 67 to 69 Cuda but they are there for 70 and up a bodies, probably the same thing. Thirty 2 bux and change for a pair :shock: too much, besides I only need one, drivers side. Thanks for the help gentlemen.

Yup that looks like it, door jam pillar seal, wonder if I will remember that.
I have found one of those and the post cover with a fellow in St Louis so I should be good to go. Thanks for your help.
