Passenger door mirror location. 1967 Barracuda

I'm trying to make sure I have the correct mirror location for a 1967 FB passenger door. I read a thread about door differences. Good info. But nothing on the mirror. Unlike the '67 drivers mirror being FWD. I believe they are all in same location on passenger door '67-'69. Thanks.

Do you have a remote outside drivers side mirror or a manually adjustable one? Doors on 2nd gen Barracudas are the same relative to outside mirror location. What does matter is the type of mirrors you have. The remote outside drivers side mirror is larger than the manually operated drivers side mirror. So then is the passenger side outside MANUAL mirror that matches it.

Most owners do simply mirror image the location on the door left to right but,,, the resulting view is pretty much worthless. May best to just have a helper hold it up close to those measurements then skew it a bit seeking a helpful view, nail it.

If you put it in the wrong spot, it will interfere with the vent-window, which is what happened to me, when I mirror-imaged it. and yes, I had to move it.

They are not symmetrical left to right. I remember that from my dad's barracuda. Mine doesn't even have the mirror on the right side. I'd really love to get a right hand drive remote mirror. Not too likely to happen though.

Pic shows a second ignition switch bezel. There is the controller for my right remote mirror. That NOS mirror was 80 bucks and missing its foot. That foot piece came from another right hand mirror. The long cable came from? Hmmm, I think 87 Grand Fury. I forget. This creation laid on a shelf about 2 years before I found it in me to make all the holes required in my car. Yeah it's dinfert and it works fine, but would I do it again? Ĺ no

No remote for right side means passenger reached out to aim it for driver. That's why I needed a right remote mirror from a right hand drive build.

When no passenger, driver is down 1 mirror.

Yes its original Matt, I just checked it, and it is kinda springy so to speak. Nowhere near as adjustable as drivers side remote.

That's awesome! Thanks. I've got multiple doors and different mirrors. Remote, non-remote and aftermarket. My original Formula S had a door replaced before I got it. This helps a ton!

What the heck happened with that dash!!!

Me happened to it. While at a stop light I saw a sign at on of those mini storage places. It read, "Space, the final frontier". It thought that was clever. Then when I looked toward my dash I realized that while D.I.N. is too much for the OEM jukebox location, there is ample space available above. Could I simply switch the 2 components? It wasn't simple but it happened.
My support for the component switch was designed to work in any A-body rally dash having any climate controller 1967 through 1972. I could make it available to all, in kit form, with complete detailed instructions.
At that same time the Chinese put out their reproduction rally bezels. Thus other owners no longer considered repairing the butchered bezels, much less a mod to improve it.
Other vendors offered to mod their factory radio too.
When I would read their comments about those moded radios, and and what they spent for it, I reserve my comments.
i wont go into the design flaws of OEM bezels but I know they are included in those reproductions Wong doesn't know another way. Carry on
