Maybe try this distributor locator. If there's one close enough to make it worth the drive and if they'll sell out the door it could be a significant savings. A couple big ifs but it won't cost anything to find out. I think it showed them in Sioux Falls and Sioux City. Maybe elsewhere, but you know your area better than me.

Not sure how much you need, but Amazon is showing a case of three 5 quart containers for $92.90. This nets it down to $6.19/qt.
Back in the day, I could pull off a valve cover and tell if the owner used pennzoil by the sludge build up. We always used Quaker State back then and today I use valvoline.

Its for the trans, not the motor .. Cope says to only use that so ,,, ?
