I am putting an Edelbrock performer carb onto a 360 cast iron intake manifold. Do I need an adapter? Also what gaskets do I need to accomplish this swap. As always thank you in advance

you can put it on top of the TQ thick base gasket if you want. My intake had some of the material removed on the center divider to help match up to a square bore, so I don't know if your back barrels will be interfered with or not. set it on there and open it up before hooking everything up, and you'll know more. I used the above adaptor and worked great for me.

I recently had to do something with a Oldsmobile 305 that took a spread bore carb and the owner didn't have much to spend on it, so we couldn't change intakes.
The carb he had didn't have ANY choke equipment on it and looked/acted like it was from the 1930's :D
We put on an Edelbrock square bore with two of the 3/8 insulators and it cleared the secondary openings and runs just fine.
It's not something I would do for top performance obviously, but it works fine for his daily driver and budget.
