Here is a71 Demon that I built for a high school buddy . It took us 3 years and a lot of his money . 440 with 8/71 blower , 727 trans , 8 3/4 with 3.91 gears . moved motor back 2 inches , used CPPA headers . Had 200 hp shot of laffing gas . Moved back wheels forward 5 inches , did not want to cut metal and patch back and front of quarter panel so we moved wheels forward can not tell it unless parked next to stock Demon . Pictures are from Mopar Collector Guide mag 1998 at Bristol show .

These are - former - hood pins with cables, on older fotos in my garage You can see it.
But I don't like them - and they are not correct on this car - especially with inside hood release..
Now there is a nut in the hole - no function...in future I will have little round coloured plates to hide the holes because I will keep the hood (and the incorrect but functional scoops) - it wears still the original paint.
I figured I would move this thread back to the top. Here is my junk 72.
