Lots of research and this thread are getting me new wheels and tires. Going with 15" rims for the better tire choices.

Arrived home from the shop that installed all my front end rebuild parts and front end alignment to find my '72 factory black rims looked different than before (at least the one installed on the passenger side-see foto two).

Sure looks like it. Can't see a valve stem and can't see the bumps for the dogdish hubcaps either.

Backwards is right and the valve stem wore down after rubbing on the caliper for the 5 or so miles driving home. What could happen next, Armageddon, the end of the world?

And this is the same people that rebuilt your suspension? Doesn’t give you that warm fuzzy feeling does it.

If you want something done right (and the first time) you have to do it yourself.

Did anyone notice the balance weights on the rim in post #883 (second foto)? Is that even possible to balance a tire with weights in those positions and being different size weights as well?

Yes, but the way I would have done it would have been to pull the larger one and clock it 10 degrees clockwise and spin it again...

The guys at the shop did that? Did they fix the front suspension too? Better check everything else...?
                    Aligned like that?

That looks killer. What backspacing/offset did you go with? Loving the stance.

Does anybody know what kind of wheels these are? I'm thinking of slapping em on my dart this summer but I don't know what they're called.

I’d have to put a tape on it to be exact but if I recall it’s somewhere around 6” on the rear with an uncut 8.8 and 4.75 on the fronts.

LOL I don't know what to say, because I would have nothing nice to say to the shop that did the work.

In front or in back? waiting on spacers to bolt on the rears. 18x9 245/35 in front. Soon the be 18x10 285/35 rear.
Would have preferred 255/295 combo but found just too good a deal to pass up.
