Pre A mix and match

:violent1:I have two running Lancer hardtops, a 61 iron 170 automatic 770 and a 62 Aluminum 3 speed GT. swapped 61 grille and headlight stuff to 62 because 62 grille was buggered and 61 is neater. IMO. gonna have to use windshield from 61 on the GT and some other things. If anyone knows the real deal on what will interchange and what wont' PLEASE pipe up. I also have a chance to buy an A833 ball and trunnion A body trans. with shifter for good price. I know I have to find an early six bell housing with 4 speed pattern or multi-pattern. Does anyone know for sure if an A903 3 speed and 833 4 speed are the same overall length. After the mix and match is complete the 61 770 will be for sale Nampa, Idaho for way cheap. Thanks, Mark.

In looking at the '66 Parts Manual, the Propeller Shafts are listed as the same length for "3, 4 Spd. and Auto," 51.61 inches (w/7.25 axle).
