Here is the October race for our all-motor class. Enjoy!

Sweet. We have a Mopar buddy down here in Al. that's been dominating the local n/a small tire-small block class with his Duster R3-W9 engine. He's 4.88 1/8th 7.75 1/4.

I would love to see that. Do you have a name or link to a video?

Laverne Ferrouillat. He's on Facebook. Pretty sure he's got some videos posted

I have been impressed with Laverne since seeing his car in a mopar magazine in the mid 1990's. I know the na 10.5 NMCA guys have toured down south and the newly formed group has a couple racers down south on their 2025 schedule but depending on different factors he'd have to add some significant weight and run the spec tire.

I really don't know what his car weights. But I do think that he's running a 10.5 tire this year. He won the small tire no prep race last week. Ryan Martin won the big tire class at the same race

8.38 is real nice
Thanks! It felt pretty fast on that pass, right from the hit. It was drifting right and fishtailed a tad right out at 90-100ish feet out but 'the hand of God' reeled it in right after I decided to not lift and it rewarded me a new best. I really need seat time because in the pass before, my lack of experience rewarded me a **** R/T and pass. So after that I was pretty focused/on a mission lol.

Wow Sean, that valiant really moves .
Way to go !!!
Thank you. The last month or so I have been reviewing my picture logs from the year and it was a journey. I'll go back and look at some predictive posts I've made in the past years and it helps from being complacent. Because once you achieve something you might keep moving the bar and may never be happy. I have been coordinating with a buddy to have him and his son (SteffCo fabrication) do the chassis upgrades to make the car legal to 7.50 ...and I'm stopping there? This will afford me some time to make some progress on the forever '69 Dart project I have backburnered.
