PST steering box

I really like the 20 to1 that pst sells tight enough to get the good road feel and not that hard to turn when going slow or stopped .

Looks like I'm going PST. The Lares is awful, and the FFI is out of my budget. Probably 20:1; I'm not sure 16:1 is a good idea with a small Tuff wheel and 17" tires.

I've had the 16:1 on my car for a while now. The first drive with it I was rethinking my choice, but after a little while it broke in and got a bit easier. Warmer weather and properly inflated tires makes it pretty manageable, even at a standstill. Not as much fun on a 15F morning as it was quite stiff. I'm planning an EPAS install in the near future though and have collected the parts for it, just figure out how to put it all together now.

When you get the EPAS figured out could you do a small thread and post a few pics . There was a thread a few years back where someone done this using a toyota setup . I could be wrong on the brand . Thanks .

What size tires do you run in front?

Yeah, I was planning to start something up. I'm using a Toyota unit out of a Prius/Corolla/probably something else. I've got it and a spare Dodge column I bought all broken down right now trying to figure out the best way to splice them together. I think I've got a pretty good idea, though I need to take some more measurements and determine the best way to merge the two so I can be confident any splice won't break.

I think they are 225/60R15 if I remember correctly. Nothing crazy, just typical daily driver tires (General Altimaxx).
