Jan 11, 2012 #3 Burntorange70 Well-Known Member Joined Feb 18, 2008 Messages 12,870 Reaction score 152 Location Aguanga, CA. Punch to knock out the pin in the pot coupling. Take the bolts out from under the dash and fire wall and unhook the wiring. Think that should do it.

Post #7 you are looking for the "roll pin". Drive it out with a punch. Just an FYI. A service or even a Hanes manual comes in handy for stuff like this.

You can easily remove the pins from the connector with a small screwdriver to release the lock tab.
