Q's for my Fellow Mopar Brothers

-
I put those on my first Barracuda, in 1976. She was a '69/904/7.25/with a fresh 225.
With adapters and airshocks, lol. Also with a 2800TC, 2.76s, and a manual shift.
I had Zero tirespin under every circumstance, and NO Suregrip, lol.
Roadtrips were fairly quiet except the tires excited the natural body harmonic at 55/60 and that created a constant woo-woo-woo. We had to drive with the windows part-ways down to let it out.

Lol, u need the tub against the frame rail after u remove the lip on the rail. Then reroute the brake line out if the way. Kim
Mini tubs coming along, Mahalo for the info Kim !

My one and only visit to The Islands 1980, I made a comment to a friendly local about the cars on the island. "Well, you either have one made before 1969 or a new cheap import. Everything in between is getting ready to leave you stranded when it rusts in half." was his response

Anyone got a set of axle bearings and seals for sale
Can't seem to find any in Hawaii at the moment
Needed for my resplined axles

Well Boys, it's getting closer
Little more adjustments
Not sure if I like the stance
Thinking I might put the lowering blocks back in
But now I need longer u-bolts

Well you know, our friends down under love them more door cars. I think they actually like them better than their two door counterparts. It's comin along good, Chris! I like it!

If only I could find a 2dr. damn near impossible to find it Hawaii ! But I'm happy with the way its looking. Already had and offer for 8k for it when its done. Think I will hold out , or at least keep her for a few months of driving in Style. Haha

if you really want to improve the stance, you should put those spring on TOP of the axle, instead of beneath it
Sorry, only way I do that ! Is if I could find a straight axle for it. Then maybe i would make a gasser out of it. Not really a fan of a High *** car

fair nuf,

i like a little slope on a car, specially a classic like ours
be curious to see what it looks like properly sitting on all fours

More door cars need to be in the weeds. Put the blocks back in. It will look so good that low with the big tires stuffed under it.

Has a slight slope, it's not bad.
But I like the body a little over the rear tire a bit more.
Not slammed or anything close, just tucked in just right. Haha
