question on shocks

I took my shocks off because the car seemed to be bottoming out too easy on the front end. These are the shocks I have.

I compress them and they come back all the way.Any other tests or are they just the wrong for the car? Talk slow,Im just learnin. :scratch:

My best guess is that you need new torsion bars (or need to crank them up a bit). KYBs are a good street shock.

Yep,just right. Now I have to lerarn about torsion bars.A little bit at a time.

The shocks self-extend because they are a gas pressure shock and with no load or restrictions on them, they extend...sorta like blowing up an inner tube with no tire.

They are working. If they go bad you can easily compress them and they will not extend by themselves. It should take some effort to compress them, too.
