When I turn on my headlights I get the right green signal to stay on. I checked all my lights and they all seem fine. Any ideas? I thought my right signal light was out but is not. Any suggestions will help.
BTW what is the red light mean? High beams? It's always on when I turned on the headlights.

Thanks
Bach

have you tried clicking your dimmer switch with your left foot? you may be blinding people at night. a dirty pin connector, dirty or bad signal cancellor or bad socket ground may cause the arrow to stay lit.

Does the green light come on with just the parking lights or must you also turn on the headlamps? I suspect the former. The simplest issue might be cross-talk in the right turn signal bulbs, either a cocked bulb or frayed wires touching. If not there, look for anywhere else that the wires might touch (fuse box, runs thru the body).

YOUR CLUSTER pc board IS NOT GROUNDED

EDIT Pay no attention to the old man behind the curtain He's not awake today

The one turn indicator on is a loss of ground at that front fixture. The park feed to that lamp is feeding back on the turn element.
The red indicator is high beam and could be a loss of ground at the front of the car also.
More likely a fault behind one of the head light bulbs.
Nothing is wrong with the instrument panel itself.

OH Red I b'lieve you are correct!!! Time to wake up this afternoon!!

The red light always stay on when i turn on the headlights ever since I got the car. I mostly drove during the day time so I havent had anyone flashing at me for high beaming. The green light stay lit when I turn on just the headlights not the park. It was working fine until I took out my cluster to paint it. Maybe I didn't plug all the wires all the way on the circuit? Because when I push the cluster by the green arrow it goes away but it would come back up again.

One more thing, when I make a left turn the green light does not blink only right turn. Thanks for all the feedback n help a guys..

No don't give up on me yet lol I'll take my cluster out gain this weekend n hopefully its just a bad grounding otherwise probably gonna take it to a shop.

having the same exact problem with my 69 barracuda, down to the turn signal only working on the right side. My hood-top turn signal lights have also stopped working. Dimmer switch on the floor seems to do nothing at all.

on my 72 duster, I had an almost identical turn signal issue after I converted to a 69 valiant grill. key on ...engine off it gave me slightly different symptoms than when it was key on ....engine running (so I figured whatever it was had to be getting slightly different with the added current draw and or output during run conditions).

I went through it all, I tried replacing bulbs, removing bulbs....etc...etc..,check wiring, fiddling with the turn signal arm, messing with the headlight switch and wires, checking fuses and relays, replaced the blinker relay......still was having issues with it. What finally ended up fixing the issue ended up being.....

(cant remember off hand if the dusters factory turn signal housings were like this also or if other a bodies are aswell) but on the 69 valiant grill, in the turn signal housing there is a built in male electrical connector tab. so on each housing I made up a ground wire with a female connector on one end and an eyelet on the other end. Plugged the ground wire into each signal housing and grounded them to my core support. That did the trick, no more funky signal issues and that got the dash lights working properly aswell.

for whatever reason the factory signal harness's worked correctly with my factory duster grill but not ater converting to the 69 valiant grill. my best guess would be to try and run some quick separate ground jumper wires at each signal socket and see what that does for you....if it cures the problem (which I am inclined to think it will) then you can work up a permanent ground wire fix from that point.

hope that helps.
