Have you gotten the COVID shot (s) and had reactions? Please post here. Kitty and I will probably be able to get it on our next doctor appoints later this year. I am curious about side effects. Thanks.

I will not be getting vaccinated for covid, just like i have never been vaccinated for the flu.

I know its different for everyone, so im not saying anything about their choice to or not to.

I hear there are some flu like reactions.

I got both parts of the Moderna with no issues at all.

I get tested twice a week for covid and I've never had it. I am 34 Y.O. with a BMI of 19.3, non smoker and social drinker. No known health problems and I have worked around corona positive people all year.

The vaccine gave me a sore arm both times with the second time being milder than the first round.

Last week I felt sinus pressure as if I was getting a cold just like I do every year. It lasted maybe 12 hours and i blew out some green snot and was done with the whole thing quick!!!! I personally believe the vaccine is stomping out common colds and just about everything else I used to commonly get.

I feel fantastic, but that's just me.

That's good to hear. Thank you drive through.

I think Corona virus itself is stomping out the common cold by means of us all being more cleanly. I'm sanitizing after I Go Everywhere, I don't even touch a gas pump I use a paper towel. I wear a mask when I'm around a bunch of people I don't know. I haven't been sick since this bullshit started year ago. So I don't think it has anything to do with a vaccine more than it does with people being "clean".

You're probably on to somethin.

My wife and me both had it , took the intravienouse thing , seems like it has helped me in other ways too. By the time we need to take a shot , I`m hoping the new johnsos-johnson , one shot will be out around here .

I work with a guy who’s wife manages a nursing home. Half of the support staff was out the next few days for flu like symptoms-shakes, chills, fevers, etc. I think a lot of it has to do with the condition of your immune system. And, in time, I think it will eventually be linked to our DNA. Some people just have stronger systems than others.

Got my 2nd Pfizer shot yesterday. No issues other than a slightly sore shoulder.
A little dissapointed the Pfizer didn't come with a Viagra booster.........

My first shot i got at 2 pm. I worked until midnight, didn't feel a thing. Went home and went to bed around 2 am. Woke up around 8am with a sore arm, a headache, and some body aches. Went to work at 2pm. Felt tired all night. Got off work, went to bed and woke up fine.

2nd shot had a really sore arm for a day. Nothing else. Both shots were Pfizer.

Got my first shot of Moderna a couple of weeks ago, arm got a little sore for one day, no side effects, I feel fine. Will get second shot in 3 weeks. I have noticed that since I started wearing a mask all my sinus issues have gone away. I haven't had allergies for over 9 months, even all this winter, no allergies at all. I love it!! I might wear this mask for the rest of my life if it keeps me from getting allergies!!!!!
Daughter go both Moderna shots (works in a Pharmacy). She had a mild headache for one day with first shot. With second shot she felt ache-y for one day and sluggish but she quickly got over it, she kept working the whole time.

I agree, I also haven’t been sick in forever. Even my 3 year old goes to 2 day cares hasn’t even had a sniffle in a year.

The wife and I received the Moderna variant.
Me - 1st shot. Sore in the shot area for 24 hours.
No second shot yet. Scheduled for the 26th coming.
Wife - 1st shot, sick for 24 hours, mild temperature.
Second shot, yesterday, mild annoyance with body aches. 1 massage given, smiles return.

11:30am, “I feel like a I have been dragged by a truck.”
(Please wait for coffee to take effect.)

1:30pm.... and she called off from work. Cranky... bodies sore... but otherwise OK. No temperature.

Wife got her first shot (Moderna) she had a sore arm and was kinda tired. I get my first one on the 18th...

My next door neighbor husband and wife got their second Moderna shot yesterday. She's a nurse practitioner and he's a firefighter.

Both are feeling like crap today. She's feeling really bad. He's in bed wrapped up in blankets and called out of work. But...to keep it real, he dresses like he's going golfing every time he mows the grass!!

I agree. We're all different. Kitty for instance has a really weird system. She gets high as a kite from a one a day vitamin and that's no exaggeration. Really strange.

I understand. Sounds like she wears the pants in the family.
