Ok here at my local Canadian Tire store they cant get rear hd shocks for my 69 Dart,but I ask for 74 duster shocks they have them in stock now to be sure they will work on my 69 dart right.

Have you got a NAPA close by?? Shop the CT prices around, you might be surprised, you may be able to get them cheaper at a local jobber.

4spdragtop yup just priced around all within 5 bucks.Man 84 dollars for 1 shock,I was shock the last time I bought mopar shocks they were 40 bucks,I guess I am telling my age lol,PS I will be geting my defrost vents this weekend.How your fish comeing weres some more pics.

I bought a set of Monroe coil over shocks. Their website will list your car, and I think the shock length.

$84 seems pricey, but if they are all within $5 bucks.... Open up an acct with Carquest...no wait thats where you got quoted on the heads right?? Open up one with Napa and you will get a discount. Plus from what everyone seems to be saying on here, they have lots of parts for our cars. Im hoping to have the car back in a month or so, then I have to put it together. I want the engine bay and underside painted before it comes home, then once I put the girl together I will send it in for the outside to get sprayed. I was up last week and forgot the damn camera. I will be up again shortly as I would imagine the tab is piling up!! Sure sounds like yer makin progress on your dart!! How did you make out with the rearend?? Gonna have to take mine apart to make sure she is all good, and replace some seals. You'll be seeing more posts from me once she comes home. What are ya doing about the driveshaft? Wouldnt another one work without having to cut it? Good luck...hey wheres your pics??

4spdragtop,sounds like your spending good money:-D:-D.My camera is without a car reader at the moment one of my kids took it, there all in there twentys and I dident do it lol.The rear is in the Dart now all new seals bearings freash paint,as for my driveshaft 40 bucks to have it shortened is how I will go.I hope to have yhe 360 in by laite April.Take care bro.:cheers:
Summit oir Jegs can have a regular or upgraded shock for you, though I don't think they'll carry a resto shock, LOL. Have you tried them?

Hey Snake,I bought these QA1 adjustable shocks from Summit for $139,yes I know there alittle more pricey.They,re adjustable and may help choosing your rides feel.Just a thought.

I bought well over $1000 worth of stuff and they use UPS..Grr!I paid in the $200 range,I know this seems expensive but I had also ordered headers(big heavy box).

Hey Don, glad to hear the diff is done!! Like I said I will probably be doing the same thing, giving it a once over making sure she's tight. I hear you about the kids....Mine are in there late teens and there must be another kid I dont know about named "NOT ME"!!! cuz it always seems to be "Not me's" fault!! $40 is good for the driveshat, I tot it wouldve been more.
