I need to plug the EGR ports in the floor of my Edelbrock Performer intake. I was planning to use a couple of set screws with red locktite. Needless to say , I don't want these to EVER fall out. Is the red locktite adequate or should I use something else..??

Can you not use a block off plate on the outside?

I want to plug the ports in the intake floor so that nothing can get in or out of them. There's no EGR in the heads, so no exhaust would come in anyway. Just don't like two holes in the bottom of the intake..... And I will be using a block off plate on the EGR mount.

Yup. that oughtta do it. I tell you what I did once. I used solid brass square head plugs. Red locktite just like you plan, but I milled the square heads flat with the plenum floor. Ended up bein real nice.
