Can anybody tell me what kind of material I can use to repair a broken support for the cables on the top of my heater box. Its very brittle and a piece just snapped right off, can this be fiberglassed ?? or what ??

Interested here also , While working on mine I found a crack in the heater box

So, Im not the only one? When removing the heat box, I was trying to remove the clip and accidentally removed the bracket and about a 50 cent size piece of the heater box.

A pic of the damage would help.
2 part epoxy is one suggestion. The trick to any adhesive is a roughed surface for bonding, Even the best epoxy applied on a smooth surface will jump right off.

If small crack or small holes I would use JB Weld

When I looked at mine last night, it looked like someone kicked it, the entire box is cracked and a couple of chunks fell out. I sanded the inside, took some fiberglass mat and resin and put it on the inside to hold it together and strengthen it, and will take bondo on the outside to smooth over the cracks.

Once the fiberglass is cured, I'll take the chunks and epoxy them in place, sand down those areas and bondo to smooth it and then paint it. I'll take some pictures tonight and post them up.

You guys may want to do this before you put it all back together...
