I got a new tune in my spinal cord stimulator. They changed everything. Next day I developed a severe pain in my right hip. Called the doc, needless to say at first he said that it was impossible that the stimulator was to blame. Received another call an hour later, they suggested I cut the power settings in half. Did not help. Next day nurse called and told me to turn it off. Hip pain is slowly fading, the pain the stimulator was managing is quickly returning.
Needless to say not sleeping but 1-2 hours a night. Was up at 3 Friday morning. Azul, one of our Redbones was very clingy. Which means 1 of 2 things, she was freaked out because of a noise or she was not feeling well. She was not trembling, so I knew it was not a noise. Noticed she would take a drink, few minutes later she would go outside. I opened the back door. She got a drink, went out and I heard her puking. Given her history of eating rocks figured she was obstructed. Called our Vet, they are both out of town at seminars. They had another vet but he was booked.
Took her to the Emergency vet. They ended up keeping her over night due to her being extremely dehydrated and having rocks in her colon. Called the next day, were told that they were not going to release her until she ate and pooped.
Azul...she does not handle change very well. Ernie and I decided that she was going to come home....the Emergency vet had already got damn near a full months income in one day. When they were walking her out to us she looked exhausted...and very stressed.
Got her in the car. Soon as Ernie hugged her into her chest and Azuls head hit Ernies shoulder she started snoring. Azuls legs would give out and she would wake up. We pulled over, Ernie and Azul climbed into the back seat, Azul slept almost the entire trip home.
Ernie scrambled her 3 eggs when we got home...she ate them all. Drank a bunch of water and kept everything down. She had 3 eggs for breakfast today. Ernie boiled a chicken breast and made her some rice. She ate several small meals. I had her on a leash...she passed the rocks...
The X-ray of the rocks (the 4 white things)
...and well....the "after" image...all 4 are out...
