Saginaw (canned ham) PS pump on early 318 with cast iron WP ?

Can a Saginaw (canned Ham ) PS pump be used on an early 318 with cast iron WP (pre 1970) since the pulley alignment changed with the later LA 318 engines. What brackets would be needed ? Just looking for some information. Thanks
