Scamp color choices

Subject to change but here are three colors
that I've picked out for my 74 scamp project
which do you like?It MAY have a vinyl top
cop car wheels and caps.No performance just
a driver 318 - A/C - 4 speed OD

I voted T-5, those cars look good in darker colors.
They look great in black if you re consider.....

try to think of it on a car like this one no bumper gaurds
according to the poll so far it's pretty split see my problem

I'm looking at colors on the computer and as we
all know they do not come out exact.Going to the
Mopar Nats just to look at paint with a list of prime
colors.

pick up an PPG color book from a friend this
morning and that helps

Personally, i like the look of the '69 GTS in post #10 over post #11..... i like the plain jane look though on mostly everything.
Is this what you want? Wheels, vinyl roof, colors, etc?
I do love that T-5 only second to dark green F-8 myself.
It would look great on a Scamp, the wheels, color, black vinyl top etc....!

Bronze & Copper have been beaten to death by ALL brands/customs the past 5-6 years, every where you look.


It'd have to be MANGO from the choices provided.

It's a very "happy" color, with very good vibes, that catches your eye & creates a smile, unlike darker colors that carry funeral home associations, or the tired "me-too" metallics with all their perpetual matching concerns.

I would agree with you on the copper to an extent.The Scamps were always an old mans sports cars and as I'm pushing 60 I guess that's what I am or will be.I've been beating myself to death on this project part of me wants a muscle look and part wants the old man look.It will have no performance 318 - A/C - 4 speed OD (I hate automatics) and I think this will fit both worlds.Yes the mango is a very good color but to loud for what I want this car to be and looks good on a Dart but ???? on a 74 Scamp.Thanks for all the feedback I'm sure I'll be asking more and NO this isn't anywhere close to my first build just different than I'm use to

Haven't decided on the top or wheels I've always like vinyl tops and TO ME I think this color needs broke somehow.Wheels ? I have Ralleys - Cop w/caps - steelies w/stock or wire caps so I may change wheels as the mood hits me

By the way I decided to eliminate the front and rear side marker lights for smother look.I never did like the 73+ that set on top of the metal so they will be gone but I will have fender top indicator lights always wanted them and have some from a parts car.
