Anyone have original dark green belts in a black interior Cuda????
Thx
Jim
PS Found this chart that indicates they should be black - but as we all know, Chrysler did strange things back then!!!

YesIs the paint and interior factory original ?
Can’t imagine they should be anything but black. Picture does not show clearly, to me the look like faded black.
View attachment 1715280404 The seatbelts in my '69 Barracuda fastback are a dark green color(F8??) but I dont know if they are original or not. The body color is R6 (Scorch red) and interior code is D6X (black). Some info I've seen says they should be black, but I'm pretty sure that these dark green belts were installed in some black interior Cuda's.

ThanksThose are definitely Black Seatbelts that are faded over time. My original black seatbelts look exactly the same. I re-dyed them black because, other than faded, they were in perfect condition including the chrome.
Some of the black belts in my 67 were also faded to dark green.
FWIW - sounds crazy but I had good results using some black shoe polish touching up my faded rear seat belts.

I asked this same question years ago and another member chimed in, I believe he has a 68, all original, ordered new, came with black interior and green belts.
Mine is a 67, black with green belts, green the entire length on all 4.
I don't see how sun fading would affect under the seat.
Doesnt the tag have a color code on them?
Black ones in my 67 are fading to a similar shade as yours.
