Alright; I finally got all the measurements for my valvetrain done and sent in to B3.
Not much progress has been made outside of that though; since the spacers and pushrods are the only things I have left to do on the motor.
However; I did have enough time to squeeze in some more headaches.
I went to put on my oil pan and I quickly realized that the 360 and 318 pans are different. So i ordered the cheapest oil pan I could get.
When that arrived I started looking for my oil pan bolts... which seemed to have disappeared.
I had to order new bolts.
Once I had the bolts here and the pan, I tried to install.
Only then did I realize that the pan rails were bent and the pan was a little warped. SCREW IT that damn thing was going on the engine no matter what.
after I had siliconed everything, and had tried to set the pan down, I saw that the cork rail gaskets were hitting the end seals and the pan wouldn't sit flush. I trimmed the gaskets and forced that damn thing on there.
the rail gaskets were squeezing out so bad I had to wait until it dried to sinch the pan down.
Nightmare

Fast forward to today, i decided since I am waiting on parts; I should go ahead and paint it.

First one to guess the color will get nothing; but I will be slightly impressed.
