Shorty Headers

Does anyone run shorty headers? I have looked at summits "magnum truck headers" http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1∂=SUM-G9044&N=700+4294908110+400304+115&autoview=sku and wonder if they would fit. Anyone running shorty headers other than spitfire?


This is going in a 67 Barracuda coupe, 273 of all things.

I know for a fact that those headers will not work in any a-b-e body, nor will they fit 72-93 dodge truck either.
maybe if you modify them??
i bought a set on their clearance shelf a few years ago and i could not get them to fit on anything i had...

I have a set that I was testing out. The problem is, at the widest point, the headers measure 33" across the block, whereas the engine bay is only 29" across at that point (over the shock towers).
