Tell Cudagirl it looks like she is taken fine care of that nice SunFish!

Ma Snart
She says Thanks, Ma!!! She loves that car and takin' care of it is one of her favorite things to do, especially in the summer when she can help wash it, then take a ride to cool off and get dry!! The ice cream shop is just about the right distance away to get the job done!!! Geof

Another Cuda that I found that had just sold...

I'm pleased to see others are enjoying this thread as well. Thanks to everyone for posting. More to come from me....

Something a little different. This car is for sale right now. Can't say I like the color, but the execution of the restoration and the customized hood scope I really like.

The grille on the Barracuda the post above the Pepto Bismol fish seemed very Camaro-esque to me...but it looked like the center portion was done in similar material to 69 centers...intriguing.

Man that is one nice looking fish, 69Cudafan!! Those wheels and redlines really set off your beautiful car. Thanks for sharing.

Makes me long for summer now that we had 60+ degree weather today.

Really like the clean look of your car. The center stripe is a nice touch as well. If you have the time, would love to see some more pictures.

Very nice car!!

But I am confused (not that unusal of a thing for me), first who is Petey (You?) and if Petey is not you, then who are you the same age as - Petey or the car?

I know everyone has a favorite car and for me it's the 1967 & 1968 Fastback Barracuda's.
Would love to have one. Any out there for sale?

I noticed the gold 68 fastback that itate posted with the black vinyl top.

Was this ever a Factory option??

Reason I ask is my 69 383 "S" had this trim on it when I bought the car in 1984 but the vinyl top was not on it. The trim molds to the body very tightly through all the curves below the rear glass. You can see the trim in these old pictures from 1987. I recently removed all of that trim in my tear down process and have always wondered if it was a factory option or maybe a dealer installed option. Trying to decide if I should weld up the holes or go back with the vinyl. The fender tag does not show a vinyl top code. This is the only example I have ever seen!
