Hey Mr2.4,

Thanks!

Yes, the Dart is mini-tubbed. I'm able to run M/T 28x12.5 comfortably as I was going for a pro-street look with a completely stock exterior and interior.

Cheers,

Mike

Man that is just plain badass! Thanks for posting pics. I was worried that it couldn't be done with the cap on the wheel housings.

Just got it back down on it's wheels. darn car's been hanging around for a couple years now:D

both side views are before I lowered it to where I wanted it. I had to drop it 2 inches to get it where it didn't point the tail light to the sky.

can't wait to get the springs re-arched 2" drop. those tire look wicked in the weel well.

I like the concept, the car, and I agree with your choice of adjective regarding your daughter.

Have fun with that bad boy!

Ma Snart

Thanks, I am really having a blast with the car. We have been all over. This is the car at Carlisle this year. Interstate all the way (2 days) at 70 mph!

easyrider,

I am runnin 18 x 8" up front with 225-40-18 yokahama s-drives
I have got 20 x 9.5" on the rear with 285-30-20 s-drives.
That is as big as you can get on the rear without tubs. Hope that helps !!

I'd like to throw my '64 dart gt /6 4-sp vert in the mix.

Nice dart. I really liked it better before the loweering. Still looks great!

Guys,

I'm a new member to the site and really like the community thus far. Great information and a lot of knowledge.

Throwing out a couple picts of my ride! '64 Dart GT - custom paint, custom interior, everything else original (V8-273, push-button automatic, and naturally no AC - It's a convertible!!).

This was my first car when I was 16.. it was blue and rough! Father/son project originally and we painted it right before I turned 16.... 32 years later.... and I have since repainted twice. Still drives out well... very smooth... but hard to stop! Those %#@! drum brakes!

Enjoy!
