Here are the last vids of the car. The ones up top were before the fire that caused the car to be rebuilt all over.

hey guys...just bought a 25k miled 1970 Duster from my buddy (HemiMark) and I would like to put in a 440..you know,..street car/coffee getter..anyone with the pros and cons/experience of this install. I would like to use the Shumaker mounts/tri y headers....I kinda like the small (1 5/8)pipes, prefer no larger than 1 7/8...gotta love the torque/streetability. I've seen fit issues on the later mount kit,,, the 73 and up A bodies.. I would like to hear from the guys that have used the 70-71 6cyl K frame kit and tri y exhaust...thanks for your help

good luck, and don't hesitate to PM me if you have any questions.

a couple of quick questions...whose bell housing did you use?...are those Shumaker mounts?..does eveything fit under the hood(with stock style air cleaner assy)?? I noticed at the end of the thread you had a hood scoop...did you ever figure out whose headers you have and what is the tube size...and last but not least....have you learned the three rules to a happy marriage?....1. keep your wife happy...2. keep your wife happy...3. keep your wife happy...violate any one of the three and...let's just say ..it's not a pretty picture...(vetern of 2 marriages...20 plus years)

Stock 10.5 inch bell housing
Yes they are schumacker mounts
yes everything fits under a stock hood
I don't know the headers but someone on here might know. I thought I found some simular on this thread and asked them, but I have no idea what page that was on. I started this thread, so I am guessing it might be under the first 5 pages or so
the collectors are 3 inch, don't know the indevidual tube size

as far as the wife goes, lets just say if I ever thought of selling my car she would leave me. She's as much a car girl as I am a car guy. Pretty luckey.

If you have any other questions, just post them on the links i gave you, that way it doesn't clog this one up too much.

Good luck

Phil

Sure is a great example of a wild '70s paint job. Most haven't held up that well.
