Slick fitment on Dart.

I have a 69 dart with 3/4 offset spring hangers and shackles.Has anyone ran slicks that are 28/9-15 on this set up.I have drag radials now 255/60-15 and am wanting to step up to a taller tire and racing slick.Your input appreciated,Thanks Kevin.

9 x 28 x 15 should fit rather easy even without offset shackles...might have to adjust the inside fender lip...

as you get taller..the front fender at radius comes into play...usually have to do some grinding at the front ....

im running 28x9's on my 71'
5" offsett wheel,offsett shackles and I trimmed the front of the quarters. I would think 29's would be tough.

You can drill a hole in the spring pads & move the rearend back 1 in. for some extra clearence.

Went from Hoosier 28X10-15 to Mickey Thompson 28x10.5-15. Actually had more space between the tires and the springs. Running 3/4 shackles. I know it looks close but they have never touched. Sorry the tire pic looks like crap. Just walked out in the rain to take it.
