Hey guys,

I was just cleaning up a hard drive on an old computer and came across some pics I've taken since moving to the San Diego area. Most all of these cars are just old buckets I've seen on the streets around town, in parking lots, etc. No car show stuff, just drivers still on the streets after 30-40 years picking up groceries, going to 7-11 and gettiin' gas.

Boy, its car-guy heaven out here! East coast guys, don't hate us! Enjoy.

That blue charger is my friends old car and that pic is right down the street from my house in Sausalito. Ha!

Thanks, Dusteriffic!
I was born and raised in SoCal, grew up during the musclecar era, and haven't found a good enough reason to leave yet. You're 100% right on - this is 'car guy heaven'.

Im having anxiety after seeing what's outside of the North East. Cars rot out after a few years... I wish I could be out there just for the sweet rides.

Caught a couple more today...

A super clean two door '57 Chevy Nomad (the license plate was cool too).

I have no idea what the second old timer was. He almost got away from me turning at the light. I thought he was gonna scrape his door handle on the concrete with that big lean.

Very cool. I especially love the pictures of cars on the road.

I've got a ton of these pictures too. But I don't want to hijack your thread.

This was north Ventura on the 101 near the Ojai turnoff.

Whoa, how old are these pics? Gas @ 2.35? I got a few but they are taken from telephone poles into peoples yards so they probably shouldnt be aired....Lots of rusting junk behind fences...

This part of Texas is the Same, even at the shows here I see very few Mopars.

What is up with that?

Cool Pics btw I miss SoCal, Lived there 30+ years and now in the hot all the time Texas.

No more do I get the 3:30 change in winds direction to cool the night.

Damn! The left coast looks a lil lean on Mopar iron! They have gotten so expensive no one wants to bring em out!

Do you have more pictures like this from of random older mopar out on the road? Not the ones like that other thread with cars in junkyard, backyards, or at Cruise-In's.

The cars pictures are most likely cars that don't get "brought out". They are just cars that get driven regularly.

These types of pictures of single cars just from radomly driving around. There many many more times you see cars of interest, but they just flash by. You just don't have time or are able to whip out a camera. Not that easy navigating through So Cal traffic while trying to get your camera out and wait for it to get ready to shoot.

Here's some So Cal Mopar Car ****...
