No problem you guys, I love nostalgia drag stuff and all the old school tech and things these guys did. I'm always happy to share. I honestly wish sometimes I could travel back to NJ for the Nostalgia drags at the Englishtown strip and take my grandpa with. I'm sure he would have some stories about that place.

Strange, I don't remember reading anything in the current NHRA rulebook about "stoneguards" in any class.
Yeah, the early days sure must have been interesting. I didn't get interested until the early/mid '60s and some of the stuff that went on then seems like the 'dark ages' now.
