OK 69 dart.looking to get rear leaf springs from our local canadian tire or rearking my old ones or the ss springs.I would like a little lift back there not a fan or the low rider look what could be the difference from the three.Car is going to be just a cruiser almost stock 318.Any thoughts.

SS springs, flipped front hangers, 15 x 7 wheels, 245/60-15's. Keep in mind that the SS's use a larger (5/8") front hanger bolt so you will need to drill out the hanger.

Forgot to add that I dont have any pics of the car sitting on a level surface but it has just a slight bit of rake- maybe an inch or so.

When I saw your dart I loved it, then did a double take when I saw the S.C. tag... NICE dart, do you have a link to more on it? (sorry for the semi-highjack)

Here is one with SS springs with out the hangers fliped. If this is just a street car you may not want the SS springs. They are a bit stiff and will bounce you a round a bit. But they are good springs for what they are intended for.

My fronts are 225/60-15's on the same rims. No clearance issues up front either. Dietz, I just have some pics on my PC but if you look under the member restoration forums (search for 71dartguy) you'll find my ongoing resto thread and the work up until now. Thanks for the complements!

I see yer a good ole canadian guy. I bought my HP springs right from the mopar performance parts at the local chrysler dealership,,they seemed like the best deal and they have several choices from stock granny cars all the way to race (oval and 1/4 mile) and they have the right springs that are side specific,,,,,good luck,,,,,,,If ya tell me whut you are looking for I can get you the part numbers ,,, not all the dealerships have the mopar performance book

Thanks Jim what i would like is almost stock but would like a little more lift at the rear.My car now sits very level now, but why do i here some springs on the left side looks like a sag when installed i want an even lift. Thanks

they will have stock as well,,,and new springs will lift your car up if you have old worn out ones on there now. I have seen new stock springs raise the rear over 4 inchs,,,, you know this already but i'll write it anyway,,longer spring hangers n the rear,,you could even fab up some new front hangers as well. Keeping in mind that for every inch you lengthen a hanger you only get half that in actual lift Another option would be to add one of the second longest springs into the pac but it will stiffen the ride. It is getting harder and harder to find people to recurve springs but here standen's will do it,, but wont warrenty anything used because it wont last. As well,,the springs that standen's makes are the same height as stock but they ride real stiff resulting in more ride height because of less weight sag. So the surest way would be to buy new stock springs,,,install them,,,, and if the you want more than recurve the new springs.... I do agree with the one side sag thing , but not until they get a little older,, they are designed to equelize the side to side traction and counter the body twist keeping equel traction side to side. Good luck
