How do I know if i have them installed? I am installing a new cam with stock springs. The cam maker said stock springs are ok but do not use rotaters. Thanks

Never seen them on a Mopar. Lots of GM stuff used them though. They look like round metal cups that cover about half the spring and go between the spring retainers and the spring. MaMopar gets the same results with a slight bevel on the valve tip.

they were on my 79 360 on the exhaust look like funky retainers. mine were on top to spin the valve if irc

They are on all 360s, on the exhaust side. They are about 2 times as thin as the std retainer.

I've seen them on truck motors mainly, and only on the exhaust valves, the rotator retainers are about twice as thick as the standard retainers, probably close to 3/16 or 1/4 inch thick.

Thanks for the help. I looked at my retainers and they all look the same (exhaust and intake). So I should be ok right?
