I hope to see you run @ Mopars at the strip this April!

make sure u dont have a rotor/ cap phasing issue, that will cause a misfire.
how do i even check that?
with 88's in a 600 carb, u must not be running a pv?
yea has a 6.5 in it... why?
a shot in the dark would be plugging the pcv off and running a breather.
currently have PCV and breather
Go Knock about 6* out of the timing and test drive it..... See if that makes it better?
http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=177219&highlight=valve+spring+woesdid you fix them valve springs..?

Look at burn marks on cap terminals, see if they are off to one side and carbon trailing inside between terminals.
You can dill holes on top of cap to see if the rotor lines up at spark a well, with time light.
u have 88's in secondaries?
The Timing change did not help it?
what cam spec and what exh flow ratio on the heads?
u say its shooting ducks at the top?
how do the plugs look?
what heat range?
Not a timing issue in that case then.... Back to the drawing board...timing did nothing... backed it from 30 to 24... nothin...
lean on top end
fuel supply issues
air leak - none
reset flote level - did
clean out carb.crap inside
worn carb throttle shafts
points gap or dist issue- regapped before install
comp test - havn't done one in a while but when i was doing springs i had less than 2% leak down on every cylinder even though it hadn't ran in about two or three weeks...
low volt to coil - thru MSD box
bad wire coil/dist
bad fuel - 100 octane leaded race gas
generally it's just lean
Your still running points on this car ?

start up @ night with hood open and no lights
look for spark loss/cross fire something
have someone there who knows cars and is objectible
why is it lean.. fuel pressure guage @ higfh end read?
install new points
install new borrowed working carb.
if not lean...advance the **** out of timing
work backwards

was gonna try the water at night trick...
Yeah geez, are you runnin a points distributor? How are you setting dwell? A feeler gauge? Use a dwell meter.
we have talked about this before... you know im not running points... and i do have a dwell meter to use if i had them...
i kinda figured saying i went from a Petronix points conversion dizzy to a mopar electronic pick up was enough...
Sorry dude......Didn't bring my crystal ball.
All I read was regapped before install.
