Stop in for a cup of coffee

Im glad i bought the snap on underhood light. Brought it in house. Lights up whole upstairs on low.

-30 and power just went out. Went and got inverter and a couple big batteries, and pellet stove is relighting now.
Glad you got it going.

I have to say that having a natural gas fireplace that works even when to power is out is a nice feature in this house. The pilot light powers the thermopile that provides the power to turn it off and on at will. It can even run off a thermostat if I choose. The hot water heater works the same way too.

Also, the gas cook top is a nice feature too. Just have to light it by hand when the power is out.

It was short lived. Its back on. Thats a relief. Report said 3 hours until it is restored.
I’d be in deep something if pumphouse froze.

I had friends in lovely Needles Ca that would buy ice cubes like that to put in their swimming pool during the summer when they were having company that would be using the pool. :realcrazy: Too bloody hot to use without them.
Health, but here..that whole load probably costs only $10 US,,,,Lol

Now at the corner cafe by the Mekong River

Good morning ing and happy Friday. -7° and our cold snap starts. Supposed to be a week of this....next Wednesday has a high uh of -10.

I think back in science studies, there is a point where cold feels warm again. You must be close to that!

When walking in the snow it sounds like Styrofoam and not snow, it is cold....

Agreed. But -34 is freaking cold.

Normally I’m the crazy one, begging and pleading for cold and snow, well I’m over it. Time to move on to spring. Freaking Father Winter finally showed up and he’s pissed as hell cause Mother Nature been out cheating with Father Time. So his vengeance is unleashed now! Hahahahaha
