Stop in for a cup of coffee

Some of those kits go for big money now when I run across them. Guess there is still a following.

Thank you for informing us, Karl. I had heard when Cliff passed on. One of the good members, had a very good sense of humor, didn't he? Even though he felt like crap much of the time with his health issues. It was good to see him enjoying being a Grampa his last few years. That day you helped pull the engine (?) of his Charger with Dart_Doctor and had the big barbeque, a lot of us remember that as one of the best FABO brotherhood moments and you helped orchestrate. Along with those who helped out when they moved from NC to OK which was not an easy move. I understand his wife Mary was a force to be reckoned with. I hope I see Cliff on the other side.

Yes, Cliff was fun to talk to...

I miss talking to him and Asa for hours on the phone late at night... We had some great conversations with the three of us...

Asa really stepped up to help Cliff find a place to stay in OK when the guy flaked out on his first one...

Asa would give you the shirt off his back, he's such a good guy...

And knowledgeable too

Pretty flimsy the rear is held together with just a small roll pin. Can see why they explode.

I blew up three of those 7 1/4" axles in four years on a 318 with a 340 cam and a 4 bbl... Nothing real radical, but the axles could not handle it in a daily driver... :(

I changed over to a 8 3/4" axle and never broke that for 4 years... :steering: :D

@Ddaddy told us just passing on the word!! That's how we do it here!!

That's how we roll... :D

Thats how I roll 02.jpg

Good morning. Had a nostalgic goofy smile this morning. Opened an envelope from Local 12 Operating Engineers, same envelope I get every year, the calendar. Cover page has "80th Anniversary Local 12 1939-2019" and I was there for 39 of them . The first new truck I bought, my Yota 4x4 '79, I put the 40th anniversary sticker on the back bumper
