We have three sites in PA. two in Hamburg and one in Warminster.
I maintain all the support systems for the Press lines, Converters and general plant support systems.

They have most of that stuff (compressed air and coolers) on outside contracts. We do press maintenance and general stuff around the facility. So I never know if my next job is changing a light bulb, changing a line shaft, etc.

I know how that goes!
I did kind of create my own position by taking on a lot of the contracted work and setting up a solid Preventative maintenance program for all these systems. started mostly when they dropped some huge coin on a new compressed air system. 3 Quincy lift valve units at 350 HP each and 4 Quincy Vacuum pumps at 200 HP each.
Was doing most of there pipefitting work and other fluid power tasks with the chillers, cooling towers and all pump skids. Worst move I made was letting them know about the HVAC licensing I had...
 
Wife just texted,its freezing in her office. Working with parka on. Guess i will crank the heat up on pellet stove, get it nice and warm.
They heat with propane,electric backup is crap.

Jeez! 50 mph winds just fired up with an intense snow burst out of nowhere. White out conditions and it put this down in 5 mins, temp dropped 10* and it’s still going. There was no snow on the ground before it started.

that's what happened to me at 530 this AM. was a pain getting to work.

Just got to work. Mostly blue sky and clear sailing. Just an occasional 'poof' of snow out of nowhere. Cool going through town. See crazy looking swirls pick up off flat roofs like something out of Ghostbusters. lol
 
Wow... Some protestor decided to try and stop the President's motorcade by jumping in front of it, a Secret Service Agent tried to stop it and both of them got ran over.

Same here now.
Its was sunny and pretty nice out when I walked to the bakery around 12:30.
Looks like its just going to be a squall,
But temperatures will keep dropping.

Got this done just in time. Sometimes things go as planned.
Just a little repair work and quick coat finish coat on both sides.
Then finally reinstalled the bolt and receiver after I forget how many years.:rolleyes:
