Stop in for a cup of coffee

you have an odd sense of fun my brother.. I am enjoying the heck outta no snow here!! how about that 74 Duster with a 400- I'd buy that in a heartbeat.. gotta be beyond rare!

It's not a true 400 car. Factory mistake put a P in the engine code on the dash. The fender tag had the proper G for a 318 car, but that has disappeared (to keep the hoax going). It's not a bib block car, just a 318...

Barracudas interruptus--------------Dont have to work weekends much anymore but an emergency with a junior staffer means I will lose at least 1/2 day in the shop today:-(
Oh well, the checks all cash-------------hope to update my build thread with some new stuff sunday night.
Cheers all and a good weekend to you--DR:coffee2:

so yea, I didn't go to Denver because a bad winter storm is coming in and its snowing in Denver and on the interstate this afternoon was like 40-50 MPH wind gusts so they were stopping the big rigs and the visibility was down because of the dust.

so I came back to wrestle with the corn nut some more.

I think I finally have the brackets where I want them but this is a lot harder than it looks because mid way ...it dawned on me that I need to check for sure ..sure the transmission is centered.

a few miles back, I had to make my own cross member so I thought I better get under the car and make sure the shifter is coming through the hole to the right spot.

there are like a 1000 variables to making sure these brackets get buried in the right spot. Makes sense now why all the floors are different in the three cars I have been comparing.

Sounds like Denver is getting hit hard Rainy :coffee2: Looks like the coffee stayed hot all day and night here and you have figured out a bunch on the seat location :color:

Looks Great Rani !! I'm sure your gonna freak some people out with all that in a Wagon!

Hey Memi !

Good morning Mitch, Looks like I have another good day to enjoy some good weather before the storms roll in, high today should be 67 degree's, the deer don't have a chance here this year

I never turn the computer off and never sign out so it looks like I am always on.

Sounds like you made good decision to stay home yesterday

yup, Denver area is getting a lot of snow and further south in my area is getting snow right now.

yesterday was almost 70 degrees with wind gusts in my area ......the warm before the storm.

the cows are fed now so if it snows all day .....I am not going to worry about anything at this point.

Good morning!

Good to see the project moving along Rani. So, you said something about different consoles and all the cars are different. If I understood right, this is not the one that you will be using? What console will go in it? Is it definitly going to mount the same as this one?

That looks good there Rani. I can't wait to see the Hemi in there too.

its slow going but if it was so easy to build cars, there wouldn't be any projects left.

I have blown so much time on little stuff so far ...its amazing how long the whole thing takes.

I feel awake again now that i am doing something to it after skipping the whole month of December and then some :???:

i was planning to buy a re-pop console body because the auto and 4 speed are different.

The template unit was an auto console but i butchered the driver side so it fits around the 4 speed hump. Its toast now but just a template.
