doesn't the oil come out of the top??? how is that a valve "cover" ??
I think you missed something there Memi, no oil on the left bank.
Well started bending hardware clothe for the hood, got it pretty good open the fiberglass resin up that is new and had a tube of bondo hardener under the cap!!! This should be fun today trying to return it to the non knowing parts people. Hope Joanne is working today there.
Hoppy!
I checked at work. Nothing with equal nitrogen and phosphate. We do have stuff really high in one or the other. My boss (who is a chemist) said he will see if he can come up with something.
I should do one of those for adjusting my slant. I just stuffed an old towel down the side. Didn't lose much oil. Biggest PITA for me is getting cover off/on with AC lines.

60s and 70s A/c is such a nitemare.
i have had horrible luck getting the old systems working. That is why i always get rid of it or just try to buy non- a/c cars.
So far out of all the A-bodies i have had ...only two were A/c cars.....a 73 duster and a 71 dart ...the rest were easy to work on :evil3:
